Sitting Wall and Fire Pit Time Lapse

We filmed a Sitting Wall and Fire Pit project using time lapse and also captured the video testimonial of the satisfied customer.

Concrete Sitting Walls:

In the project you see here not only did we install the Concrete Sitting Wall, but at the owners request for the paver application. We installed them too. Along with the fire pit. First we began by clearing the area including all the vegetation. In the meantime the pavers and fire pit are on order. In no time the area was cleared and we installed the stone for the sub base.

Digging the Concrete Sitting Wall Foundation:

While the patio prep is ongoing we begin Digging the Concrete Sitting Wall Foundation. Unlike pavers, the concrete sitting wall requires a foundation. Once the foundation is excavated we form the walls and sitting bench in one monolithic unit. After all of the sitting wall is formed we install rebar. The rebar gives the concrete additional strength and also allow us to reinforce the sitting wall bench. Being the bench is cantilevered, its adamant that the rebar is installed properly.

FINISHING THE CONCRETE SITTING WALL:

THIS IS THE FUN PART! INSTALLING THE STONES AND FINISHING THE CONCRETE SITTING WALL. THE WALL TRANSFORMS RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES. AS A CONTRACTOR I LIKE WORKING WITH THE MATERIAL BECAUSE IT ALLOWS US TO CHOOSE THE DESIGN AND COLORS. UNLIKE “BUYING” YOUR ROCKS PRE- MADE WE GET TO CONTROL EVERYTHING.
